About Mudpies & Dragonflies

Welcome to the premiere year of Mudpies & Dragonflies Educational Programming. I'm so grateful that you've joined us!

 

I started this buisness as a means to suppliment my income working as an educator with NC State Parks. Eventhough part of my job with parks is educating kids, I love to teach so much it wasn't enough for me!

 

Mudpies & Dragonflies was named after the dragonflies that like to do headstands on the clothesline in our backyard classroom in the summer time. And after the symbol of all dirty, fun, hands-on, natural play learning...mudpies!

 

It's my longterm goal to build this buisness to where it can become my primary source of income by building a strong following. Ultimately I hope for it to help breath life into the first ever backyard preschool/daycare utilizing our backyard classroom, held entirely outdoors!
